It all started in 2012 with the purchase of an abandoned storage locker, which allegedly contained this unknown Art by Basquiat. The Orlando Museum of Art excitedly prepared an exhibition after acquiring these works. However, lingering issues about provenance and authenticity prompted an FBI investigation, leading to a raid on OMA and confiscation of the entire collection.
