Here I am, sitting in my chair, contemplating the future, while the shadow of the past, looms large over my head. Storm clouds gather while the wind blows and the rain is falling. The chilling wind, whistling through the meanderings of my mind.

My holding pattern has not gotten better in the last month. That round and round feeling is still here.

I did pick up my brushes and work full on a persnickety detailed painting. So I know I can still do it. Even though I was wearing my old prescription glasses which I only need for reading and close up seeing, and by the time you read this, I will have had my vision

This is where I should have inserted the next installment of "My Artistic Journey (part 5)".

I feel like I'm in a bit of a holding pattern. At times it seems like something between the bumper to bumper on the freeway and the round and round circle that you see before all the water drains out in the bathtub!
