Does it matter to you if the artwork you buy is the original or a copy?

When you go out to find that next piece of artwork (I'm thinking wall art here), what is on your mind? 

• Is it about an empty space on the wall that needs "something" to balance out your decor?
• Are you looking at compatable colors with furniture and flooring?
• How important is the content or subject of the art?
• Is any emotional response or personal attachment to the painting a part of your search?
• Does it matter who the artist is and whether you feel a connection to them or not?
• Do you look for original artwork or is a reproduction good enough?
• How about the cost... find a good deal or is the purchase more of an investment?
