Which kind of art appeals to you?

If you look at the artwork here on this website you see it is mostly in an abstract style. People might say oh wow, how cool... or maybe they say, I don't know what I'm looking at, what am I supposed to be seeing?

I get it, I really do. Infact in my family, these are reactions I get. I have always thought it interesting that my two sons are on opposite ends of the reactionary spectrum. One gets it but the other says, dad, I just don't understood your art. Even my wife sometimes says, I like that... but I think she is still more comfortable with art shes sees what is supposed to be seen, you know an object. I love them all, but this is the art I've felt is art I like doing.

So what about you, do you lean toward realism (representational) or abstraction (non-representational) art and why one over the other... or do you like it all?
